Today I potted up five of these unknown fig cuttings which I started rooting 4-5 weeks ago. I'll call it "Gonsalves", naming it after a relative. My dad says it's the same fig his father grew which we lost in a flood 38 years ago. The black fig holds up well without fermenting and can dry on the tree. May have been brought from Portugal.

This cutting had the most roots but some others had more leaves, some already with a third leaf on new shoot. Helps having my greenhouse heated.

10 roses cuttings.
I bought a dozen roses for my wife and when they wilted I put the stems on water. After a couple of weeks I saw new buds came out so I potted them in half gallon pots.

Today I stepped up (Moved to larger pot) three mango seedlings. I also potted a Zingiber officinale, Zingiber spectablis, a Curcuma longa (o'Lena), and an Alpina Tai Galanga. :2239:

Going to pot on 5 red geraniums and some lavender - I have them sheltered from the rain and sun, and hope they survive the hot and humid summer. They are all grown from seed and I am amazed that they have made it so far. Love the smell of lavender. Wish me luck!

Potted these - American Beauty Dragon Fruit from SuperMario. One had shipping damage, but I trimmed off the tip and put it into the pot also. Not sure if it will make it but we'll give it a shot. Thanks Mario!

Early this month my basil cuttings rooted in water (with tiny amount of fertilizer in the water) in about nine days. Today I finally potted them. Hopefully they will develop a strong root system outdoors before the first frost day so that they can continue to grow well indoors, my wishful thinking...
