thanks! off course we have palms in the Netherlands haha
![]() we can't grow much, Trachycarpus, Chamaerops, Butia, and Trithrinax and Phoenix Canariensis in the mild areas. (and more with protection; like brahea, parajubea, washingtonia, livistona. and than we have to hope on a warm summer and a not too cold winter. the last winters I am mostly in zone 9a or 8b but we dont have warm spells in the winter (almost always between the 25 -45 (night) and 30-55 (day) Fahrenheit with LOTS of rainI have now 200 seeds of the Trachycarpus fortunei of the second pic ![]()

Really amazing to see these palms growing so far in the north...That shows that tithrinax campestris butia capitata and trachycarpus fortunei are really cold hardy...Have you some sabals too?

No, mine seedlings died last winter, but the minimum was only -7...
I know some people who haves sabal minor and palmetto outside , sometimes they die, and sometimes they are undamaged.
