Hello Gang;

Just picked up a Nice size Catalina Avacado Tree , Was in Clearance At The Port St Lucie HD

Great looking tree , about 4' tall , I will post some pix once i get home tomorrow.

I also have 2 avocado trees in the front yard, grown from seeds. They gave 5-6 fruits last year as their first time. Hope to see more this year.

How long did it take for your seed grown avocodo to produce fruot? Was the fruit palatable? How tall were they?

It takes around 6 years (not quite sure). Yes the fruits were palatable if you pick them at the right time by consider the color of the fruit, should be light green. The trees are about 6-7 feet tall.

It was the HD at 700 SW ST. LUCIE WEST BLVD
They have more , i think i paid $36 it was a 2.3 Gal & the tree it self is about 4ft tall very healthy ..

This Avacado tree i grew from seed , its about 2 years old now & 7ft Tall & Healthy



i gave it lots of coffee frounds as a seedling ..

How long did yours take to Fruit ?
