Have you ever heard of Tropica Mango Exotic Fruit Tree Nursery here in South Phoenix in south mountain village? I think a jujube a mango(that I killed) a loquat, and some other stuff i cant quite remember but it was a about a $600 order so it must have been at least 10 plants or so. If you want some banana pups you are welcome to come over to my place to take some. I have loads.

Yeah, I just called the guy from Greenearth and he said that he's behind 2 weeks and I'll probably get my plants at the end of next week. Good to have things cleared up though.

Thanks for the offer! It's hard to find people who have bananas around here, but first I need to work on establishing my new plants, don't want to get too ahead of myself. I'll try to keep in touch with you if I ever need some local bananas though.

And have you ever gotten fruits from your plants?

I have 14 banana stems fruiting right now. saba,rajapuris,4 mystery bananas, gold finger, mysores, monkey finger?,brazillian red.

Ha guys have been wanting to ask about Osmocote.I have been using the 19-6-12 slow release.I use a handful every few weeks am I wasting time with this stuff or is it ok?

Well, I'll at least try out this Espoma fertilizer, and if it works, good. If it doesn't work, then I'll try to order some banana fuel or some of that tropical stuff.

I just use that stuff in orange 40lb bags and every once in a while use some straight potash.

Now, strait potash would be hard to find around here I think, but JohnNY helped me find a nursery supply place here that I will go visit soon.
Also, the stuff I use isn't organic I don't think, so you may not like using it. That's OK for me -- I like chemicals LOL.

Folks, keep in mind that with fertilizers "organic" does not mean "natural" or "non-synthetic". If "all natural" is what you want then it better say so right on the label.

Green earth publishing? I have ordered several bananas from him and all were very nice plants, large and healthy for TC plants. Not a single one was what I ordered. I must give partial credit to him, though. When he sent me the wrong plant for ice cream, he replaced it with two Namwah, which he has been told IS ice cream. As usual, they were large and healthy.
