Default A special thank you

Just wanted to recognize my friend Pauly. (damaclese)

Yesterday, following snow and frost earlier this week, Pauly offered to come over and help me move my larger containers inside. I have back problems and could not do it myself. He had offered to help several weeks ago, but I was rationalizing that if they couldn't survive outside, then natural selection would prevail. But, since they are not in the ground, the exposure to the frost and cold could cause them to die unnecessarily without proper insulation.

Together we moved 14 huge container-planted bananas from the back yard around to the garage. I feel much better knowing that they are safely stored inside the garage.

Thanks again, Pauly! You are a trooper!

Good job Pauly. There should be more like you. Years ago I lost a coconut palm that was to big for me to move due to a back injury, all the folks who had no problems asking for favors from me had no time to help so, I know how you feel Scott.

Thanks Patty, I could but all of the leaves were lopped off so just pstems are visible and a few cigar leaves.

Here's what we brought inside:
Belle, Orinoco, SH3640, Red Iholene, White Iholene, Saba, Pitogo, Williams hybrid, AeAe, Mona Lisa (FHIA 2), Manzano, Hua Moa, Ice Cream and Mysore.

Since we had snow and rain last week, they were quite heavy! I could not have done this without Pauly's help.

Today Pauly called and I was going into the lab to pot some TC's. I had nearly 40 of them to pot, so when Pauly volunteered to assist, it was a welcomed reply.
We potted every one of the little buggers, thanks to Pauly! I would still be there if it weren't for his selfless help.
I will be posting photos of them from my other computer. (probably tomorrow sometime)
