If it is labeled for garden and vegetable use, it should be. Look at your label.
Bayer has several different systemic mixtures available, some NOT for use on eatable crops.

If the question is regarding your basjoos , go ahead and use it. My plants do not produce fruit due to the short season...so I use it.
