Default Soap on Bananas

Another question guys. I know that mixing soap and water to make soapy water and spraying it on plants keeps bugs off of them. Is it safe to do this to my banana plant?

Use it on all your stuff .......really!!!!!!
I use it as a "sticker" in my mixes .
Soap does work !!!

I use fels naptha,mixed with a little cooking oil then I add 1/2 tablespoon diatomaceous earth..
