![]() Please take a look at my poor little Siam and see if anyone can help me pull it through! One leaf is green and healthy looking but the other one is wilted, spotted and droopy! The pstem is spotted and dry on outer layer but fairly green and clean looking under the top layer.
I received it on 10/26/12, potted it in a mix of MG expanding soil, MG cactus soil and some perlite. Don't know what to do!!?? ![]() My pics are in Gallery; don't know how to put it in my profile?! Last edited by cbezak : 11-04-2012 at 04:33 PM. Reason: Make addition to message. |

![]() Is there anything I can do now, or is it too late? I gave very little water, only dampened soil and let it settle overnite and planted next morning.
Thanks for quick reply, Carla |

![]() Give it time. It really doesn't look so bad considering the short time you've had it, especially if it had to travel through the mail. It is one of my favorites. PM me if you lose it, which I doubt you will.

![]() Heat and light! Light makes nutes for roots. If anything, a pup or two might comeup in a week or two.

![]() In my experience, Siam Ruby does not do well indoors. It likes hot/humid environments best. Mine always seemed to crap out during winter and barely make it till spring alive (and actually didn't survive last winter). Winter growth was always green, very spindly/weak and leaves got increasingly narrow/unhealthy-looking. Spider mites like them too.
