Soaked onion peels make the brown water. I would have let it soak more. It works with pineapple, too. I've soaked in tea and plain water as well. The alovera acts like synthetic powdered growth hormones. Still, the outcome is great. I'm working on dragon fruit from seed now.

Is the outcome predictable?

I do not know, but I believe it to be a vegetative manner of propagation and so it should be the same as the plant it came from. Those that know more than I please correct me if I am in error.

This and many other similar videos are just click-bait trash. There isn't even a glimmer of reality in any of it, the videos are just designed to mesmerize you so watch, and then as views pile up, they get ad revenue.

Cool! I didn't know that the banana grows in such a way. However the outcome is not very predictable from the video, but still, it gave me a lot of information. Have you tried this?

Hey guys I have a new way to propagate bananas. So grow them nanners this way, then take the roots and cut them off so it stimuates new core roots... Super secret way to get huge bananas in zone 3. Every couple months dig it up, and cut the roots, and give a sharp cut to the main corm. It stimulates growth. Then in winter, remove, cut all roots, and place in medical grade water with rotten meat! Works like magic!!!
