I love pindos! I've never had the jelly though. They grow here with minor winter protection. I'm waiting for mine to produce seeds. It will probably happen next year.

Pics don't matter what matters is setting up your pindo to grow like a Banana if your going to grow one That means soil prep.. I have 2 monsters.. and I might plant some more. The flavor of the fruit is really good to me. I think Jelly Palm liquer would be awesome if I were a moonshiner.. lol

i have one i bought at a nursery and one i germinated from seed
so far i bring them inside for the winter
but check out his guy in ottawa canada who keeps them in the ground with winter protection

You don't need to be moonshiner to make a great liqueur
Macerate fruit in quality gin or vodka or grape grappa, add few secret ingredients, sprinkle a bit of magical dust and you got a Bingo!
