![]() Hello! I'm new to this forum and live in Northern Utah. I have been doing research and would like to purchase a couple of Musa Basjoo plants or other cold hardy variety that would work in my region, zone 6a. Please let me know if you have anything available for purchase. Looking forward to trying this hobby!

![]() You came to the right place. In your zone Basjoo is the only banana plant that will thrive in the ground. The plant is extremely hardy. As Scotttu said most Basjoo are still dormant in ground and not growing however now is actually a good time to separate them. The plant is quite prolific so I am sure there is a surplus out there somewhere. A number mail order nurseries will have small plants for sale also. |
