![]() I started with 3, I got them as TC plants from TARS. They seem to be growing pretty quick. I have a hartón común that is the same age. I will have to see how they compare.

![]() Where did you get it, tc or pup?
I started with 3 TC plants from TARS and then got 9 pups in the first 4 weeks after planting. I'm not expecting a good hard plantain, but it should be an excellent cooking banana. Lessons from introducing FHIA-21 FHIA-21 | Promusa High-density planting (2500-3200 plants/ha), as annual cropping system or for maximum one ratoon, is more profitable than more permanent, lower-density planting[

![]() i picked a pup up locally. it was really small and i planted in a slightly shaded area, but it has taken off. no pups yet, but i will definitely plant some more. thanks for the info. you don't think it would be good fried green?
edit: nvm... just read the link. i guess i will have to see how it tastes.
