So my Ensete Maurelli took quite a beating from the Santa Anna winds over the past couple weeks. I was a little sad to cut down so many leaves that had folded from the wind,


but as they say, when one door closes another door opens... As I cut down my last EM leaf, like a gift from the heavens, my first Goldfinger bloom



Also, update on Dwarf Brazilian bloom,


My first two blooms are reportedly two of the tastier varieties, I feel blessed... and impatient .
