Default what type

i started this last year in a pot outside and have this fruit any idea what type it is got the plant from a friend in north Carolinian hope the pic comes out ok it is in a large container as our soil here is all clay and the original pup did not make it i took this one from the bulb before i planted it in the ground
hope i did the picture right

The fruits are mostly 3 sided or 4 sided?
