Default What a spring!

Two praying hands have bloomed, one lady-finger bloomed, 2 red dwarfs that are at 6' now, and 3 pineapples!!! Nothing on the Orinco (sp) however (for some reason....I appear to be the only person who sux growing these).

If I get those red dwarfs to bloom..........itll be perfect (grown them x 5 years, but they are so susceptible to cold).....never made it this far!!

Once I get a camera i'll take some pics!

Hope they don't get any bugs!!

Sailfish, that's awesome to hear. I know we've had 2 months of good temps after a mild winter, but I'm amazed to see so much going on so quickly for you.

How old are your plants?

All the banana's are well established and the mature plants all survived the winter with very little damage.

Thanks

Hiya Re: What a spring!

This winter (what winter?) was so mild.... now have praying hands, mysore, Namwa, local FL banana from the Keys (unknown type) and Goldfinger fruiting. Dragon fruit will bloom in 1-2 days. Roselle plants up and growing fast, mangoes ripining, avocados plentiful.

Ae Ae has two pups!

It's going to get to 41 here tonight, enjoy your warm climate! Won't hit 80's again until after the weekend. 60's Saturday, 60's Sunday, 60's Monday, 80's Tuesday. So typical for Indiana lately, beautiful week days, crappy weekends.
