well in Canada when it's 82 f at 9:30 am you know it's gonna be a hot day. says it's gonna be 91 feeling like 106. woohoo. today i just received 2 plants a manzano and an ice cream that will be planted today...somewhere...lol. Thanks Briancoconut i also planted a bordelon, goldfinger and my sore pup a week ago from microfarmer thanks . they are doing great ! pics as soon as i find the camera

hope everyone had a great July 1st and july 4th.

Today I put my last surviving dwarf Cavendish banana plant in the ground. I will add a photo to this post when I get finished celebrating the 4th, lol.

I hope everybody had a hot rock n 4th! Hope you guyz in Canada had a hot rock n 1st!

Today I separated a 2 foot California Gold pup from it mother and planted it looks good.

1 Musa balbisiana var. liukiuensis and two Dwarf Orinoco pups, have 4 more pups coming on the dwarf orinocos.

I cut off one of the 3 pups on my IC, but it had no roots--so I potted it up and bagged it and moved it to the shade to give it a little better chance of making it. I think I will wait to cut one more.

I also have two pups I got from Abnshrek in the process of developing some roots--looks like at least one is starting to grow and has a new leaf.

After my dwarf Cavendish made a pup, I got excited about DC's so I got another one today. I potted it up and will prolly leave it in the shade for a week before I plant it. The leaf that's sort of pointing up is 15 1/2 inches long so it's the biggest DC I've ever had.

It does sort of make me want more... strange. I'm still trying to get my Black Thai banana plant to make a leaf and I have a Rojo Zebrina banana plant on the way in the mail.

I planted [potted] 2 Rojo Zebrina banana mother plants that arrived, by FedEx, at 12:30 pm CDT this afternoon!

The plants are [from soil to tops] 29 and 32 inches tall. They are very healthy and had thick and healthy roots. Here are some photos I took:

There are tons of really thick and healthy roots on each:

It started raining as I was potting the plants so I had to rush. My bike pump is there to give an idea as to size:
