A few days shy of 6 months. This is the biggest DB I've ever had. 57 lbs, 149 fruit on 10 hands. Huge individual fruit. This one benefitted from being closer to my regularly watered lawn than any other banana plant. I have 2 more bunches this size coming in the next month or so.

6 months? Are you at elevation? I would expect 6 months in the winter in Florida but not in the tropics.

DBs and Williams here are always about 6 months, occasionally a few weeks less.

From flower to harvest? I'm just a little surprised because at 6 month bunches only happen when flowering occurs in November. You wouldn't have a bunch left to harvest, just a bunch of black cast skins

Yep, 6 months is how long they take no matter what time of year here.

I harvested this Dwarf Brazilian bunch but didn't have time to cut it down when it was ready. The birds had a feast! It was a huge bunch for a Brazilian.

BTW, this took 6 months from flower to harvest too.

Are the Pisang Raja skins actually fuzzy as I've read?

No, the bunch stalk wasn't fuzzy either. I know that some bunch stalks are kind of fuzzy as well.

Harvested some more Dwarf Brazilians today. This one was super healthy. It was planted underneath a rain gutter and got a lot of watering. Each finger was super fat.

It's amazing what more water can do. I've also gotten those massive DBs from the mat I have closest to my lawn areas which gets regular water, and therefore more water than any other bananas in my yard.

FHIA-1 and FHIA-17

I only had 6 leaves at flowering on the FHIA-17 so I greatly shortened the bunch.
