Default Weather... Grr

I started my seeds off at the end of last week, thinking the weather was going to be ok for a while yet, as it's only the end of August/beginning of September, but today the weather has been utterly vile!

We've had rain nearly all day, and thunder too! My poor seeds are sat on my kitchen windowsill needing some sunshine and blue skies, not grey cloud...

I'm so sad.

We've had to have the lights on at work most of the day as it's so grey!

Hope everyone else has got some good weather- Can you send some to Wales please??

Hannah. xx

"Weather - Grrrrrr" is RIGHT! Lately, temps here at night are lows of 39-40 F (2-3 C) & highs of 56 - 60's during day!! There were few days in August with temps of 98 or so & lots of humidity - normal for this time. My nanas do not like this cold. I think we broke a record set in 1800's for cold. Ooooh, where is global warming?

You mean ONLY 89 right? Actually we have had a very nice summer with the exception of some really hot weather in June.

Wow! That has got to be tough growing conditions. We have been below normal in rainfall 5 of the last 7 yrs, but this yr we are 2 inches above normal at just over 4 ft.

Most of my trees have at least a few brown leaves and actually one of my apple trees just started putting out flowers lol. There were about 2-3 apples early in the year but they were lost to pests like how the birds ate all the blueberries.

Well this has been the most weird summer can remember. first it was nice in June 65-70 . then i went to Vancouver for a week in July the 6th to 14th and it was nice , I get back in to ont Ca and its so cool and cloudy and rainy it was sickening. now toward the end of Aug its been really nice but the night temps are getting down to the mid 50's 55-58 burrrr. im sure any one in the northern US can relate to this. Im talking about Ohio New York and Pa. very weird season
