That is a huge greenhouse!! And I thought mine was big. What zone do you live in? What is the benefit of the greenhouse where you are, and how warm does it keep during the winter? I know here, if mine was that big, I'd be spending a LOT of money to heat it during the winter to keep all those nanners fruiting year-round.

Your place looks like heaven.

I live in subtropical zone, at the Mediterranean Sea.The benefit is about 15000 Euro every year.

During the winter I do not have to heat, we never have freezing temperatures here.

If you have no freezing winter why do keep them in greenhouse?

In winter its not freezing but cold, sometimes drops to 6°Celsius, a greenhouse also protects from sun and wind.

You have much better results when you grow them inside a greenhouse, there is a huge difference in the quality of the fruits.

What type of bananas are they? Are they all the same variety? Do you sell them?

Thanks for sharing. I imagine there are many ways to explain the benefit of your greenhouse. From my small greenhouse I see springtime temperatures warm up inside the greenhouse by 9am whereas banana plants outside would be growing much slower.

Over what period of time do you harvest bananas? Is it mostly in late summer or fall? Or do you even get some fruit in the winter?

Most of the bunches are harvested november-december,the development of all the plants is not the same. I try to manage this as good as I can.

Yes in Winter we also get some fruits.

Do you add CO2 when the windows are closed when it’s cooler?

Surreal to see only intact leaves, no wind-whipped leaves.
