It probably had 3 weeks in a 25 gal pot before I transported them to La to put in my Little Banana grow room.. where I had a heater go out, but it only got in the low 50's so it was fine.. As you can tell from previous pages in the thread the mother did fruit from a similar height when I planted it last spring.. :^)

I just receive mine today from Thailand

Only 7 days for shipping !

I am waiting since 2 month for a jubaea chilensis that i have bought in a french nursery....

The veinte cohol has a big piece of corm greatly cicatrizied and full of roots.

The roots are Brown only on their end.

What should i do ? Cut them ? Or they have a chance to recover?

Well this is what I started out w/ this year (rear plant not the saba up front)..



And this is what I have now.. A pair of sisters one @ 5' and the other over 4'(backside of pic), and more pups. Pup on front left is over 3'(p-stem) So its just a matter of time before this one blows its top.. :^)

Main stem is at 6' so hopefully a better Harvest than last year when the stem was only 5'4".. :^)

3 Months & a week and I end up w/ Stems of 6'4", 5'4" (on the backside Is the small one from the pic above), and 5'2".. The 5'4" will get potted up this thursday..

Beautiful plant, Migael.

I've started to decrease my holdings of this cultivar, the bunches/fruit are just too big, making hand removal difficult and time consuming.

Going to thin this one out very soon.. Tallest is 6'6" of stem so only 5 more inches to get to PR's VC height @ bloom, but I don't think it will get there.. :^)
