Looks very happy with the way you are treating it. More hands and fingers than I've usually seen in pictures of this variety.

Man that VC really throw a flower and pushed out the fruit quick in under a month. My I think dwarf Orinoco has had fruit hanging for a month about 3 dozen, and they haven't put anymore size on for a few weeks?

That's amazing! From closed bloom on 8-18 to fingers filled (and turning yellow?) not even a month later on 9-12?

Glad you noticed that.. They are getting lighter.. I'm fixing to bag them.. I guess my Banana Crack is doing good. Of course its a combination of all the tips I've gotten on here, and probably the most input from Dan, but Steve hooked me up with the plants, I can only say Thanks once again. :^)

Damn Michael. I give you a pup last year and yours is blooming and mine is doing nothing. Of course, I didn't protect it last winter and I've totally neglected it this summer so I guess it's my fault. Great job. Tell me about the taste when you harvest.

Steve

Hope they taste better than the report from the greenhouse winter ones reported a few years ago (from Dan?). Thanks for the nice series of updates.

You'll be in the 40's in two weeks! Yikes!

Could be a month or more here.

I'm not worried they redid the forecast, and it was high 40's, and high's in the 80's.. no effect.. :^)

Looking awesome Michael!!! Wish you a great harvest of sweet bananas! After all, they shouldn't belong to the Sucrier subgroup for nothing! Niņo is a personal favorite from all(few) varieties I have tried,so this one should be pretty great too I think! :)

Well I'll try them at various stages and see how I like them best.. :^)
