I texted with him a year or two ago. He got rid of all his banana plants! All gone. Sad. He had a really impressive collection.

Hector stopped growing bananas, before Covid. I was so sad when he told me. He is a great guy and a huge loss to this forum, hopefully someone like yourself Larry, can take up the mantle, of having a collection like Hector did,it would be fantastic for this community,

Hector recently contacted me for banana plants, so maybe he's starting a new collection.
