I got myself 2 Truly tiny this week at Canadian tire. I never thought I would find these there... About a foot tall and 1 even has a pup! I took the last 2. At 18$ a piece, it was a good deal. I'll try to post pics this week-end...

Too bad there were only 2... I would have taken everything!!! Oh wait, I did! Lol! I'm pretty happy with my purchase. Looks like a TT, let's hope it is... My daughter hates bananas but promised to taste it if they're really small...

I'm sure they will! The main problem is watering... At least, it drains well! Lol!

I would like them to be TT but hey, SDC would be okay too. I love te color and the size of the pstem; it's fat, robust and pinkish. And it stays small. Overall, it's a beautiful plant. If it' sdc, I would need a regular size cavendish and I would have the complete collection ( c-dc-sdc) lol!

I have had my TT for about 3 years. This year is the first year that I let it grow outside in a large pot. The little plant loves it. Has anyone seen a flower or fruit on one of these plants? Also looked on the org wiki, Early TT were a super dwarf Brazilian and later plants super dwarf cavadinsh. I hope I read that right. If this little plant could make fruit like it makes pups it could put the large plants out of business. Once it gets going there are pups for all your friends.

I have two truly tiny's i got a bout two months ago. they were really small when i received them so i figured i would start them out in a community pot...looks like they will need to put in separate pots real soon...they are growing really fast.

For me, when plants are small some look similar at first glance.
The coloration of the leaves will change once the plant matures a bit also. Once the plant matures some more you will be able to get a better idea. Those plants in your photo as well as the ones in the other posts are very nice and healthy. hmmmm My guess is a TTsdcDC..... I do not know. |

Hmmm interesting, where did you get all those dwarves? Are you sure they are what they say they are? I think the real TT has an all green pstem, being a sd brazilian, doesn't it. Ive been feeling like TTs have all been replaced with sdc. Im really glad this thread came up, so maybe we can get to the bottom of this.
