Default A Tool called "Lurdinha"

I´m a newcomer in the Banana World..............so...............every day I found something new to me..................

Today I found a Tool called "Lurdinha"..............here in Brazil.............

Also I found a Video...........that I would like to share............

I´m thinking in make one for me...............

I will make a Digging Bar.............Concave.............to extract the pups with no damage.................for replanting............

But the "Lurdinha" is a different tool...............and I´m not familiar with its use.................

Looks the coring tool may be to remove the meristem.

I found an intresting use for this Tool.............

Is here :

Revista Brasileira de Fruticultura - 'Prata-anã' banana plant nutrition and production fertilized with zinc and boron via rhizoma

They used it to introduce B and Zn...........when the pups are removed.......

First using a machete to cut the pup off...............and the making a hole using this Tool............
