Too much nitrogen ??

I had a soil test done last week that showed low nitrogen and high PH (7.3). I put some coffee grinds and cottonseed meal down and watered in. I also gave it a little ammonium sulfate in the water for a quick boost. They also received a light foliar feeding also.:nanadrink: This morning I am seeing some of the leaves curving upward on each side of the mid stem to form a valley, it looks very weird. They have been growing pretty good despite the heat and the nutes. We have not been that hot for a few days so that is not a factor. I will soon learn how to include pictures, please be patient with us neanderthals.
Thanks for the help
Larry
To update, the joke might be on me because the plants are looking a deeper green as the day goes on, and they have a much more proud posture. One of the new leaves is greening up faster than usual. I am a newbie and maybe I don't yet know what a screaming happy plant looks like. Lets see what tomorrow will bring, here's hoping.
update 2, They look better by the minute so i can only laugh at my overreaction.

Re: Too much nitrogen ??

I have yet to over fertilize a banana despite trying.

potassium sulfate will also help lower your ph and really get them moving
