I agree! Chris, any idea when you might be able to ship that 'Pitogo' we've been talking about? Let me know if I need to send some $$ your way. I know you've had a busy summer trying to get caught up on some things but I thought I'd check in with you.

Thanks for the compliment Rmp. Everything came from Growing Bananas and Nanaman except for a few.

Yes I have the climate for it --- but only for 355 or so days a year. Last winter's 9 day cold snap almost did me in!!!

Dan
Unfortunately I know the feeling...only takes one or two bad nights (of cold)..in our case this year over a week straight.

This past Winter was bad for everyone..

Yep..Going Bananas..I purchased my first banana from Bill Lessard in 1993 and his book. Prior to that I only grew bananas passed on by other gardeners. The vast majority of my bananas are from Going Bananas..it was fun in the mid 90's walking through the grove with Don and digging out huge corms....and walking past all of the unusual varieties (many of which have since been removed from the catalog). Hopefully the summer and fall will bring lots of rain without the Hurricanes, I always enjoy seeing your pictures and reading of your progress. Good luck!
