Default Super Dwarf Cavendish

This flower is huge! I'll take a picture with something to compare with! This plant is in the ground and is around 3 1/2' tall

This large picture annoys me! But my gallery is full so I used this way and now its huge.

How old is the plant? And for all, how big will the bunch and also the nanas be? Smaller I would guess than those in the store? (Or are they even the same?)

I can't remember the age... not more than 1 1/2 years, should go check pictures and see if I can get a better idea. As for the size of bunch I think it'll be over 200 bananas, the first hand has about 32 or more and I can count 9 hands already. they are around 3" long, I don't think they'll get much longer.
My problem is "how much should I cut off?" I hate doing it but I think it's needed. The circumference is 27" about the same size as my big plants. In the ground makes bigger plants than container grown!

What is the diameter at the base of the super dwarf Cavendish, since you live in zone 6b, was your super dwarf Cavendish in a pot and only planted into the ground this year. Mine is growing in a 15 inch pot, which i am hoping it will flower for me next year.

Hi Peego

In the UK, Cavendish varieties have to be grown in a greenhouse or indoors, in the winter and the summer.

Hello
It's around 8" in diameter.
I did have it in a pot for some of it's growing time... but it has been in the ground for 3/4 year? (Somewhere there) I planted it in the greenhouse so thats why I could do that the rest of my SDC are in pots.

The male flowers have started now so it's done, haven't counted them to see what the total was.
