Default Siam Ruby hardiness

I'm about to get a Siam Ruby from, Steve, and I am wondering about it's hardiness. Has anybody grown it outdoors in zone 8b?

I don't believe it's very hardy. Comments from this thread should be helpful: Siam Ruby in the cold!

Not positive but, I think clerk where I bought mine said at 68 degrees growth slows. I know it isn't cold tolerant. Mine will be coming indoors as soon as the weather gets cooler. Right now I bring them in at night.
