Default From sadness to joyfulness

Few days ago I was so sad and crying over loosing my big Ice Cream banana to gophers and/or maybe rot. Now I am very happy due to a very generous person from this forum who lives few hours away from me. He offered me a 7' blue java. The stars were aligned for me to make possible getting the banana to my place. My son happened to pass by his area and picked up the banana. The person I am very thankful to, is Bob3. Thank you Bob from the bottom of my heart. It make me very happy to know there are good people in this forum and on the earth.

This is how my banana looks....

...now I have to make sure nothing happens to it. Any advise?

Did I say thank you Bob? Thank you, Thank you.

That's absolutely awesome!

Good people rock

Bob3, you took a sad situation and turned it into something awesome and memorable by filling fitafig's physical and emotional void. Well done

It looks pretty naked, maybe a light sweater or sweat shirt?

BTW: "Ice Cream" = "Blue Java". same plant, just different names.

Ha,ha Bob...starting with tomorrow she wouldn't need a sweater....the temps will be in mid 60th and she will go in a bigger pot.

I have such a big dilemma...should I planted in the ground and make a wire basket to protect it from gophers....or should I keep it in the pot? The other banana I had 'blossomed' when I planted in the ground but I do not want to loose this one too.

I know I have gophers....I just saw a hole next to a fruit tree I planted last month. Keep my finger crossed it did not damage its roots.
