Default Rapid Leaf Growth?

I've got a dwarf cavendish that seems to be bunching up on leaves. Previous leaves haven't fully opened/extended and new leaves are coming out but can't fully open due to previous leaves. Any suggestions?

Could be over-fertilization. Happen in some varieties. If it is at full height, could also be in indication that flowering is near.

Don't fertilize too much. It's maybe 6' tall, not sure what the fruiting height of a dwarf cavendish is. Did a little more research and I'm worried it bunchy top virus. I looked at a few of my other seemingly healthy bananas that don't show the bunching and I can't really tell if they have the J-hook on the veins going to the rib. I did see only a few aphids, but not a huge infestation.

Are any aphids too many, or is it normal/acceptable to see a few?

Highly unlikely it is Bunchy Top Virus. Highly.
Have never seen aphids on banana plants. Should be easy enough to wash them off.

Could your aphids be spider mites?

If they are mites you will want to treat for them.

My DC do this every year coming out of dormancy. Especially when warm temps and heavy
rains occur together. My DC usually come out of it on their own, but my Raja Puri does similar and needed some cuts made this year to release the choke.
