Congrats on the babies! I haven't attempted growing nanas from seed yet so this was another great thread to subscribe to for me. I just read up on Ensete Ventricosum. They are nice! Can't wait for pictures!

ok Kitty if two more sprout then you can have the second one i already have every one promised out so fare the I'm keeping 3 i promised out 456and 7 to Friends here in Vegas Scot gets number 8 and then you get the next number 9 so fare 7 have sprouted but all have to Waite a wail to send it probably not until September as its way to hot to send such a youngin out in to the hot cruel world unescorted and are you sure you have room thees get to over 20ft tall

they are in a room thats 7x6 its my guest bathroom i keep my orchids in there so theirs a humidifier ruining 24/7 i have the walls water proofed so the moisture stays in the room there a Small east facing window which lets some light in for about 3hr early in the morning and i have 4 36" blue and red florescent lights set up to help them grow what im going to do withe them after they get biger is any ones gues im building a green house this fall if all gose to plane but its ify on the time frame

Ah yes I seem to remember you saying that, this does not help me as mine are about yo outgrow the ice cream cake container there in. Any suggestions to keep the hummidity up?

well if you cant isolate them in a moist space i would put them on a tray with a layer of pebbles and put water in the tray not so much as the pots are touching the water this will create a micro climate around the pots raising the humidity quite a bit misting helps them to they can take some fairly low humidity if you are keeping them properly watered try the pebbles i think it works pretty good clean the tray ones in a wail it gets nasty fast in hot weather incidentally this works for any plants you have that like moisture

My third seed has germeinated this a full 5 weeks from being placed in soil. I will hopefully have a pictue of my largest one in my photo album tonight, as I am forced to move it out of its minirature terrarium today.

thats grate im still at 7 but im happy and im sure at 3 you are too cant wat to see you pics my liitil guys are geting big the all have two leafs and hafe have there therd leafs growing out no sign of any read im sure all get some with at leat red on there stems but will have to wate an see at least theas seeds were gerintead so iff there all green i get my mony back have you transplanted any yet?
