![]() Hi all,
I would like to know if you have any experience growing this variety, and its cold hardiness. I had the opportunity to try several of these recently and they are by far my favorite banana thus far. Orange flesh, sweet and cake like. I loved them. Thanks. |

winter can take the mother down, but the pups come back with a quickness. a good fertilizing program will help tremendously with the mother surviving the winter depending on how many frosts. and how many freezes. keep us posted, pisant raja is a beautiful plant.

![]() Oh, I didn't mean to suggest I have a plant, only that I ate some of the bananas.

![]() their extremely hard to get. many places try to pass off rajapuri as pisang raja. the p-stem has a very nice purplish color that eventually turns more redish as it grows.
thanks for the taste test. ![]()

![]() I've never purchased from Florida Hills Nursery, but based on several other posts I have read on Bananas.org, Florida Hills seems to have a history of shipping incorrect varieties. (That's why I have never purchased from Florida Hills Nursery)
