Default not producing new leaves

Hi Everyone,

My 3 foot tall indorr banana plant has stopped producing new leaves. In the past, it had 6 - 7 leaves on it at a time. For the last month, it has stopped producing new leaves and only has 3 older leaves left.

I make sure not to overwater it and haven't moved it from its location.

Does this mean it's dying? It is spring here so I don't think it is a resting phaze.

Thanks for any advice,
Diane

What does your fertilization schedule look like? It may also be root bound, what size pot is it in and how long has it been in it?

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.

Check for mites with a magnifying glass. A relatively small volume of mites can kill a plant because they inject a venom. The first symptom that you might notice is that the plant stops growing.
