Said "Welcome to Bananas" 37 Times | New garden Hi everyone, I've been busy this summer. Started a new bed and thought i'd let you have a look. I know it doesn't look like much now, but it's a start. Hopefully next summer it will look a lot better. The first part of the summer was spent just trying to get the grass killed out. Thanks Frank and Randy for all the plants you've sent my way. |

Hey, thank you for all the plants you sent my way as well... I would not have the yard that I do without your contributions. As a matter of fact, I do have a couple of things for you and will be "hollaring" at ya first of next week... You should be very proud of what you have going on over there.... |

As for that utility pole, maybeee...........next summer you can throw a bunch of moonflower seeds at the base of the pole, throw some dirt on em', and push them in with your foot! VOILA!!! no more pole! Moonflowers will cover that pole!!! Just a thought! Have a nice day! MG

Oh I hate power poles too but nothing we can do about them. I think your tropicals are so dramatic in your area though, you don't even look at it. Thanks for the pictures! Deb |

Said "Welcome to Bananas" 0 Times | Re: New garden What kind of tree's are those in the center of the first pic? they look alot like these seeds i sprouted from a mango/papaya cross? idk, it was sold as a mango, rang up as papaya, and said it was a cross between the both. It looks something like a giant marijuana leaf, but serated. Also looks similar to mine because of the long stems on the leaves.

Said "Welcome to Bananas" 37 Times | Re: New garden It's a papaya i picked up at walmart. I planted the seeds last year and it's got baby fruit on it this year. I know they won't get ripe, but i think the plant is pretty. |

Said "Welcome to Bananas" 0 Times | Re: New garden yeah, i never really liked the look of mine until a few days ago, idk i guess i just started really noticing them.* they sprouted about 3 or 4 months ago, and are about 2 feet tall already, ones got a thick trunk that had really airy compost, the others are taller and thinner, but still strong. you know, if you pluck the fruits off, it will put that energy into the plant instead, just fyi
