Default my whole (tiny) collection

Today, I have expanded my collection with more than 33% (33.333333...% to be more precisely).

I got this pup on the far right from a really nice shopkeeper. From left to right: Musella lasiocarpa, Musa thomsonii, Musa ?? pup. It also gives an overview of 3/4th of my collection .
This picture was taken right after I finished putting the pup in a pot.
Any idea what this could be ? The label doesn't help a lot, it reads 'Musa - Banana'.
[IMG][/IMG]

Here you see the mother plant the pup came from. Could this be a Musa Dwarf Cavendishi?
[IMG][/IMG]

Here is the rest of my collection, a Musa sikkimensis. Since I have placed it outside of the house, it has refused to produce any more red colored leaves.
[IMG][/IMG]

To end this in a positive way: there is still room for expansion.

I hope they will grow a lot better next year, after I have planted them in full ground with lots of compost and manure.

No idea what it is, but sure nice pictures!

How big is the pot that the Musa sikkimensis is in? Is it possible to get flowers on it when it is in a pot of that size?

Gabe,
Thank you for identifying it.

Gard,
The Musa sikkimensis stands in a 20 liter (5-6 gallon) pot. From what I've read, any banana can flower in a pot as long as it has had its number-of-leaves-before-it-will-flower. But if it stands in a pot, it will probably take a lot longer before it will flower and the flower and fruit won't develop as big as they would if the plant had more soil/food at its disposition. But hey, this is the experts opinion of someone who got into bananas about 3 months ago.

update:

This is how my sikkimensis looks now.

We've had a short storm with hail the size of walnuts and fierce winds that lasted less than 15 minutes.

Spot the seven differences with the previous photo.

The swimming pool ? Yes! You're right ! I's gone, I've put that in for the winter. Now still six differences to go.

I think the most important thing is to give your bananas plenty of foot room and regular intervals of liquid / granular fertilizer. For northern container growers, I'd suggest super dwarf cavendish, truly tiny, and little prince, maybe dwarf cavendish if you have the room..
