![]() It is transitioning from female flowers (fruit) to male flowers, no more fruit will be produced. Normally for hobby growers cutting off the male bud doesn't have a dramatic effect, but in this case since it is late in the season and you are not in the tropics, you might consider cutting off the bud to direct more energy to the fruit to encourage them to get as large as possible before cold weather. It looks like the fruit will not also be getting very large anyway, as the plant is rather small, so don't expect anything like a "full size" banana.
