How do you test your soil
It may be a dumb question but how do you test your soil to make sure the levels are correct and how do you regulate it from there if the levels are to high or to low

I use test kits from the depot or the place with the helpful hardware man...here where I live soil is a little alki...we have a local extension office but they charge and it takes a while..you got that red clay up where you are??good composted matter mixed in really helps with that red clay

Digital pH meters work well for testing soil acidity/alkalinity.
