Hi, everyone. I haven't been on the site for quite a while. This is hard to admit, but due to a series of circumstances, I lost my home in a real estate scam in 2011. A lot of us Veterans did here in San Antonio.
I haven't recovered yet, but I'm working to save up for a van to convert into a campervan or hopefully a Class C RV. Currently, I'm living in a tent, but my cat and I are not going hungry and we're warm at night. I've been in contact with the VA and am working to qualify for housing and other help. I seriously miss having banana plants. It was soooo cool seeing my plant put out the magnificent flower, then watching the little fingerlings develop. I still want to have a banana plant again someday. Until then, I'll remain part of the forums and learn from all of you. You're an amazing group of people! ![]() |

Wow...I'm real sorry to hear about your misfortunes! I hope things start getting better for you immediately and you get back on your feet and in a house soon. Banana plants can wait.
