Default Flower questions

I have flowered orincco's and raja puri's,and the flowers were very similar,shaped like a football more or less,but my dwarf cavendishes,I have 2 in flower now,and the flowers are like torpedoes!And about 2 foot long,is that normal?
Never seen a cavendish in flower before!!

yes, its normal. the female buds come in lots of shapes and sizes.

not nessacerily, but it can as larger varieties tend to produce more bananas, but its really a varietal thing, the best cared for Dwarf Orinoco will never have as many bananas as a well cared for Grand Nain for example.

Well I've grown dwarf cavendish for as few years now,and have never been able to get them to come to bloom,until now,and these plants were a lot bigger than the raja puri was this year,taller and fatter trunks and heavier too.\The raja puri is showing bananas now,I hope they will continue to grow and produce the bananas over the winter time,after digging them up,and repotting them in half 55 gallon drums,I wasn't sure they would continue to flower and produce bananas,but it seems they are at this moment.
Will I need bees to pollinate them,or are they self pollinators?

Edible bananas don't need any pollination.
