Well for Christmas my wife ordered me a banana and figured lets take a chance with FHN.Well it is a Viente Cohol. It is a foot tall and looked really good and had a root system. Hopefully that's what it really is,it doesn't look like anything else I have. So fingers crossed.

Well, I know that the Florida Hill's representative's tactics here on Bananas.org were questionable and perhaps dishonest. However, I have ordered from them and my banana came within a decent amount of time and was healthy. It is still growing and has had several pups.
Believe me, things could be worse. I am currently dealing with a situation where Greenearth, a supposed banana company, is not giving me what I paid for. I ordered an ice cream and SDC plant on December 20th from the website, mainly because the website boasts, "Usually ships within 24 hours...priority mail" According to an email, my bananas shipped on December 22. I have sent two additional emails to this company requesting a tracking number, but have been told that they don't use tracking numbers. I phoned Mr. Taylor about my order on Wednesday, January 2. He was cordial and said there must have been some mix up at the post office. He stated that he would reship and that I should receive my banana by this past Saturday and at the latest by today, Monday. Needless to say, I still don't have my bananas. Had I known that it would take this long to get my nanners, I would have ordered from somewhere else. I guess the joke's on me.

Let it get a little bit bigger, and then we might be able to confirm whether it's in the AA family, of which VC is a member.

Corm Power? I think I prefer to have the right type, versus size, at GB you get both I think. If your getting a seeded banana does it really matter as long as it grows? To some yes. I prefer not to find out. :^)
