Any
Mine is 5 years now,I know it has grown well over 100 leaves and still no flower. I'm not sure if I'll be able to repot this thing come late fall,it is so huge and heavy, just about not got it out of its pot this spring,I had to lay it down on top of me,and push with my feet on the edge of the container, and roll it over into the planting hole. |

Yeah,it was kind of funny at that!!!LOL
Wow! What a pretty flower! The size of my nanner,is so huge,I can't even put my arms around the whole way! I'm sure she ways way over 200lbs. The one in the Wiki photo, looks like a baby compared to the size of mine. I;m wondering if it will ever flower, and maybe I just should just cut the rootball up in fourths this fall, and hope new sprouts will appear. |

Thanks Clare,I have now,and I like what I see!!!!!
Yep I seen a post sometime back on propagation of one of these, looked shocking until you see all the pups appear!!! I'd really hate to cut her up,but she is so heavy and big, takes a lot greenhouse space, but 5 yrs now is a long time,I'm wondering if she will ever flower!!!!! Do all bananas flower??? |

I would say it's a safe bet to say 'yes' all bananas flower. I still am waiting on proof that Siam Ruby does, but I'm fairly certain that it does....but that it requires very delicate/particular conditions to do so.
