Default Dwarf Mysore/Pisang Ceylon?

Does any one know if such thing exists? I would be great news for me, because wind is a problem in my area...
Unless I discovered afterwards there is no way to get here in Spain hahahaha.

Pisang Ceylon and Mysore where the same type of banana right?

As far as I've been able to discover, there are no dwarf varieties in the Mysore subgroup (unfortunately). Some individuals plants in this subgroup will fruit at dwarfish sizes, but that's probably a result of growing conditions, not true dwarfism.

Pisang Ceylon is a full sized, tall banana. Mine should be flowering for its first time this fall and it's already pretty tall. Should get 4m tall easy on subsequent flowerings if it doesn't get already.

The Mysore cultivar most of the time is found expressing the BSV virus integrated in the genome of all AAB bananas, and thus is mildly sick(this not the best producer or performer) and potentially a source for infecting other bananas through insect vectors. I wasn't able to get hold of a healthy pup of the Mysore cultivar. Pisang Ceylon is a resistant Mysore, doesn't express BSV and the virus can't be transmuted from it(or any other banana that does not express the virus, even if its integrated in their genome). There are other healthy cultivar of the Mysore subgroup as well, not just Pisang Ceylon. For the brief time I grew it,Pisang Klotek was free of BSV symptoms and healthy and so is Palayamkodan(a Mysore cultivar from India). From their taste descriptions, this subgroup must be my favorite but I have yet to taste them,so it remains to be seen for me.

I know that it does not come with BSV, but is it true that it canʻt get it?

I have not seen any with it while i do have seen other normally healthy AAB's get it while establishing as pups or in TC. I don't think there is any proof that it can't get it but it seems to practically take stress and not express it,though i would always monitor its health as with any other AAB cultivar. But healthy, established plants that are not exposed to severely adverse conditions are not likely to start expressing the virus. That goes for all AAB's. Just don't stress them too much and watch out when establishing new plants,as the stress could make the pups express it. Never seen a Pisang Ceylon do it though. Unfortunately i seldom get much of a reddish purple new leaf underside too....most are just pale.
