I have a dwarf green as well. I received it from Baker Creek heirloom seeds, along with a gros michel, little prince, and two truly tiny's. It's planted in a twenty gallon smart pot in Fox farm ocean forest soil that I amended with 5-5-5, compost, worm castings, and a coco fiber mulch. They all seem to be doing good so far. I'll also water them with either compost teas, liquid fish, liquid kelp, or some combo of those depending on what I was watering in the garden.

Food is medicine. My backyard is mostly a garden that my wife and I try to feed our family from. We eat pretty seasonally fresh from the yard and it's free of pesticides and hopefully GMO's. And hopefully soon full of bananas.

Thanks for letting me know. You seem to be around here quite a bit so I'm glad you chimed in.
![]() Maybe you could guess at what they are until they've fruited and I'll known for sure. [IMG] The dwarf green is on the left. GM on the right. I will get better close up pics to share soon. Hope this image works ![]() Last edited by TheOrganicMechanic2016 : 08-03-2016 at 02:22 PM. |

Nice plants they look healthy. The one on the left is for sure a dwarf. One on the right looks like a cavendish type which is in line for GM. You won't know for sure if it's GM until you get a flower.
I for sure saw some super dwarf cavendish in your pics. I understand the dwarf green is a dwarf cavendish type. Congrats on the healthy plants.
