Choked
Had one that had trouble with the second leaf, cut off 6" yesterday and found the choke. This morning a new leaf has pushed out 8",
 P-Stem 5' tall.[IMG] Top of the cut off P-Stem. [IMG] Bottom of the cut off P-Stem. On another note, after 3 months the Mississippi River is below flood stage here.

i have had a few choke this spring as well
one was looking a little rotten mid way on the pstem so i pushed on the stem and it snapped off near the base...in the middle there was a little leaf ready to become the new plant |
