Ensete glaucum isn't a true banana, but Ensete and Musa (the "true" banana genus) are somewhat related. It'll look like a banana plant in a lot of ways, but Ensete aren't grown for their fruits. Probably more cold tolerant than a lot of edible bananas though. None of the varieties of banana referred to as "apple" or "manzano" should be making seeds, unless someone is stubborn enough to try and manually breed them with hand pollination. It's a time intensive process, so more often than not, the products marketed as seeds from edible bananas are a scam. Some forum members do sell seeds from their breeding experiments on edible bananas though, so they'd be your best bet for seeds bred from edible bananas.
