Default Ca Gold starting to do well.

I planted my ca gold during the hottest spell of summer here. We were having 105F days and it got kind of choked up for a spell. New leaves started to come out but they never would finish before anther leaf would over run it. None emerged far enough to see the petioles.

Now about 2 months later....after a fair bit of trimming on the pstem....the leaves are coming clear out before unrolling and the following leaves are helping push the previous petioles.

Took a while, but is doing really well now.

here are a couple pics. They look a bit trashed...we have a lot of pretty strong winds here..
