Tried to search forum for answer but the search feature not working on phone. How is best to ship banana pups? Friend would like some. Curious as if to just cut off most of stem and and all leaves sending just a bit of pseudostem and corn roots? Or is it best to leave it whole and just ship smaller pups?

Either way works. If your friend has no experience in growing things then a smaller rooted plant may be easier since it will recover from the shock of being shipped faster.

We have used pvc pipe with holes, or even the cardboard tubes (lighter) for a small package which does not get squished. If just a corm, regular well padded box works well - just when a soft pstem or even some leaves the tube is great. (Got something from Grey's gardens in a square box which got squished (and no refund !), so like to go for circular containers.)
