Default Banana's in my garden plus a couple other things.

Ok, So here are some photo's of my gardens. I'd really like to increase the varieties of Banana I have so I may try some from seed as availability seems to suck around here. I currently have 5 Ensete Maurelli, 1 very large clump of Musa Basjoo and a smallish clump of Musa Zebrina (lost all my big ones last year). I also have various Canna's, Variegated Ginger, Alocasia, Calocascia, Taro, Windmill Palms, Pindo Palm, and a smattering of this and that lol.

If anyone would like a close up on something, let me know.

I'm not a good photographer lol, I point and shoot but recently started to pay attention to where the sun is as well. Here is a pic of what my Musa Zabrina looked like a couple of years ago before I lost the main clump (didn't get it into the greenhouse in time).

This was the year I did get them in in time.

Very nice. It looks like your windmill palm is in the ground- in zone 5B? How about the pindo palm- pot or ground? I like your tiki as well!
I "went tropical" too here in north TX.

Palms that are in ground, 2 - Windmill's, 1 - Pindo. I had a small waggy in the ground but I lost heat inside the box in January, it was still a live in April when I opened the box but covered in mold. I treated it with Hydrogen Peroxide and potted it up. It's doing very well right now. I'll put it in the ground in another year. I lost 2 Needle and 3 Sabel Minor's this winter however. The Pindo had it's box blow off in a big windstorm, broke all my stakes holding it down and was exposed for a weekend down to Minus 16C and made it through pretty good.

Palms in pots, 2 Date Palms, 3 Christmas Palms, 1 Pygmy Date Palm, 1 Cycad (Sago Palm).
