Default Bananas for further ripening

They are some hands of Dwrf. Cavendish that stood more than 100 days under
the sun outside in the ground. It is getting colder every day and in fact the
lowest tempeature this morning is 10C/50F, so I took them indoor for further
ripening.

Curious question....was it 100 days from the day that the DC flowered or was it 100 days from the time they actually looked like fruit till the time you cut them off?

P.S. Thanks for the post and pics! Now I know what our DC's fruit will look like when it finally fruits!

Good and plump - so they should be good when ripe - nice and sweet! Congratulations!

It was more than 100 days from the time that the bananas started flowering,
and not from the time they actually looked like fruit.
