Very nice! Hope I can eventually get both of mine to produce fruit thought I imagine it will be difficult here in GA.

Great pictures! I used to grow both Praying Hands and Ice Cream but gave them all away to friends to make room for some palms I wanted to plant. Unfortunately, I'm running out of room in my yard and the bananas are slowly losing out to the palms. At one time I had over 35 varieties of bananas and now I am down to about 16. Today I dug out my Rose bananas and tossed them in the compost pile so that I had room to plant another palm. They spread too quickly and were too much maintenance.

I'll keep you in mind Sean! I will let you know the next time I need to make room for another palm. Even though I try to get rid of some of them, I can't. I either throw them in my mulch pile or lay them down in my side yard and before I know it, they have sent up a pup or two and rooted back in the ground. I tried to get rid of a Mysore a couple years ago and now have a couple of them growing in my side yard that had grown out of the corm and the whole thing is now firmly rooted in the ground again. I'm sure I will have Rose bananas growing out of my mulch pile before long!
